After School

I'm not quite sure why I like this shot so much (it's certainly not because it's technically any good!)
I had just gone out into the garden to fill up the bird feeders and Stephen was sitting in the kitchen doing his homework. He looked up just as I took this shot through the rain-specked window and for me it caught a moment in time - that fuzzy, sigh-of-relief time of day when the main stuff is done and we're home;
everything still a bit chaotic, but it doesn't matter!
