Our Bus Trip to Phoenix
A day to focus
on artistic interests
with like-minded friends

We were up early and gone by 7:30 AM. Our bus to Phoenix departed our neighbourhood at 8 AM. It was organized by my artists' association. We were out to see an annual display/show of fine arts by painters, sculptors and mixed media artists. We received our seasons pass for this show and can go back again. We are thankful for that because we were not able to view even half of what was on display today.
The artists displaying were there to work and meet the public. We had lovely chats with these artists as we moved throughout the displays. They were very open to sharing their passion and explaining the process for their art. It was fabulous to walk through this living gallery. My only sadness was there was a big sign at the entrance which banned photography onsite. Therefore, I have no photos to share of the marvelous artwork we enjoyed today.
To add icing to the cake, we stopped at a discount art store on the way out of Phoenix. We scrambled out of the bus to find our art supplies at discount prices.
We were back to our starting place in Yuma by 8:45 PM, tired, but happily so.
