Arriving in Malawi....

After a long journey, at last we are flying into Lilongwe where you can see the picture is not so very different from yesterday over Ireland. I left here at the end of September when it was brown and dry but its the rainy season now and its beautiful and green. And it is about 20 degrees warmer which is really nice...

Travelled up to Mzuzu today (takes around 5 hours) and had a lovely welcome from people as we drove down the road where I stay (makes me feel like a celebrity). Extremely tired though so its find the bedsheets, make the bed and go to sleep............
