Before Sunrise

3:27am, 5:06am. Those are the times I woke up today before drifting back to sleep and awakening just before sunrise. Something special must be happening then because this isn't the first time I've woken up at these exact times. I feel like I'm in a movie.

My roommate & I are going to be reunited with another one of our childhood best friends tonight. Now that she has an 11 month daughter and her husband quit his DJ business, it's been a while since she came up here to visit.

We were fortunate to have a built-in network of people who grew up to become our closest friends and pseudo-family. It wasn't until long after we had all gone our separate ways did we appreciate the unique childhood we had. To this day, we are all still in touch. Although our get-togethers are few and far-between, we can immediately catch and up and pick up where we left off, like it was yesterday.

I hope he gets to meet my inner circle of friends. We're always ready to welcome others inside. We are the most honest, loving, and loyal group anyone can ever meet. Sending out huge hugs and kisses to them! Xoxo
