The Mediterranean Sea, as seen from a train

I was in Béziers, near Montpellier, this morning. I'm in Paris right now, but taking a train to London in less than two hours.

These journeys would have taken days a few dozen years ago, and can now be made in the course of a single day.

It's convenient, no doubt. But is it good?
