Wishes do Come True...

Yesterday I wished for Spring and today it came. Well till about 10 minutes ago when it turned grey again and started raining. But this morning and the earlier part of this afternoon have been lovely.

I even had a nice wander in the back garden for the first time since....erm...sometime in 2013. I actually took some shots of the garden looking green and spring like in the sunshine but in the end I couldn't resist blipping the hydrangea as I like how the sun is showing up it's beauty, even though the petals are long dead. I find it just a beautiful now as I do when it's blooming in all its glory.

David worked from home today as we had a meeting this morning with some people about plans we've had on the back burner for a while, in connection with the house and Alan.

If you have seen any of our summer holiday photos you will know that Alan's all time favourite activity is swimming. He would live in the water if he could. Unfortunately public pools are usually too cold and not very accessible so he doesn't have the chance to get in a pool as often as he'd like to.

Well after this morning's discussions we will now be going ahead and starting the process of planning and building his very own hydrotherapy pool! It will take up what is currently the games room and require a bit of an extension to house the plant room and changing facilities and bar :P but that's no sacrifice.

I am so excited for him. He will be like a prune, the amount of time he will spend in it! Can't wait to tell him! Another wish come true :))))
