Finally some sunshine....

OK so it has remained chilly and there have been showers but today has actually made me feel optimistic that Spring might actually be on it's way. The sun stood proud in the sky for far longer than I can remember in recent weeks. The fact that it's Friday increases my sense of optimism - no crazy, drag the children out of bed, school run hell tomorrow :) It's also my Dad's 64th birthday, and although he's spending it in hospital, where he has been resident for the last 16 weeks, I get to spend it with him - and for that I am truly thankful.
