Not Sochi

The opening ceremony of the Sochi Winter Olympics takes place today.

Today's Blip is from deepest Lanarkshire and the Olympic flag is a symbol of human endeavour which transcends borders and politics.

However tonight's opening ceremony is a reminder that politicians sometimes use sport to their own ends.
