Floods

Good old day today.

Started off with Little Quavers this am then headed home to entertain Auntie S & Uncle T for lunch.

Quick spot of babysitting for a friend then we headed off for a wellies/puddle walk with our neighbours.

We couldn't believe the amount of water that we found, over the train line where we can normally walk along the tow path next to the canal we found a second canal which had completely flooded the neighbouring field, in one of the photos you can just see the pylons sticking up out of the water.

Quite frightening how much water is advancing on our estate - it's only about 2 fields away now. Quite sobering really.

Talking of sobering - think I may have to break out a spot of vino tonight, not had a drink since NYE and feel I have earned one :-)
