Bad photo of beauty

Today was bitterly cold - about 8 degrees - but I got out to our local park for a 6 mile run. It was absolutely beautiful. For the most part, I had the roads to myself, but, at about 3 miles, these two dogs joined me and ran with me for the entire rest of the run! I have no idea where they came from, but hope they made it home safely.

I also happened upon a horse taking a drink at the side of the road and a blue heron doing some morning fishing in the creek.

Unfortunately, all these beautiful moments were missed since I didn't even bring my camera with me. A quick snap at the end of the run with my (crappy) cell camera will have to do!
