They must have a name
These lampstands of the sea
That are
Perches for gulls
Beacons for sailors
Crossings for sea creatures,
Waiting for a three-piece suite.

I think the red lampstand, minus its shade, makes the picture, giving contrast against the greys, greens and blues of this colourful scene at Seasalter beach today. I like the glimpse of gulls and the sighting in the background of the Isle of Sheppey.

I blipped a similar theme around a year ago.
