Floods

A scary morning for some as the river water gradually rose during the morning claiming more and more land and threatening nearby houses.

I didn't have to go anywhere else but hear there were lots of road closures and travel difficulties. I took lots of photos over the course of the day instead. Jess was in seventh heaven as she LOVES water and all the fields were covered in it!

However I have everything crossed for no more rain tonight, not only for the sake of friends who live near the river; but also because I'm off to Paris tomorrow as a birthday treat, with some friends.... and I would like to get there :-)

I probably won't be blipping until I get back so stay safe and dry everyone!
