Looking for shelter ...

It rained most of the day. It was grey and dark and dull. In the apple tree in the backyard I saw a common finch sitting in the rain. It was my chance to make a picture. The small bird stayed for several minutes looking around ... for food ... for shelter ... It was okay with me. I could make my shot in the available light. Between the lens and the bird is a double glazed window ...
