reflections

today I look in the mirror
I see before me
a reflection of someone
I would like to be

someone who is real
honest, open, loving, wise.
standing beside me I see
another reflection

a friend someone
I would like to be
someone who has
a story to tell

I look in the mirror
I see 1000 faces
all of them someone
I’d like to be one day

I see myself my friends
1000 faces looking back
