The Fish Box

It's that time of the year again - plant catalogues all over the kitchen table, seed potatoes in the airing cupboard and garden tools being inspected.

This box now used a s a tool box was originally made as a fish box. Looking at the detail in the brackets and the inset handle it is difficult to relate this workmanship to the plastic trays that fish is delivered in today!

The turned wooden implements in my book also score favourably against their plastic and metal counterparts!
