Awkward ......!

Awkward ......when a woman in the post office greets you enthusiastically , asks how you have been, if you're still in the same job, how the boys are doing and what they're up to now ...when you haven't got the foggiest who she was. All I know is that she has 'boys' too and one has just joined the police force .... ??

Awkward..... when you have forgotten about the ocado man and you're already in your PJs ....

And I hope it was really AWKWARD for mr George Osborne who attended a meeting in our village hall this evening to answer questions on why he thinks it is ok to flatten beautiful countryside round here to shorten people's commute to London by 20 mins. And try to explain the loop the rail link is planned to make to avoid alderly edge... and wilmslow ...!?!?


Anyway.... Time to forget about awkward moments and open a bottle of beer!!
