OU Memory #3 - Football pitch or swimming pool

I know flooding is a prevailing theme of captures by this blip planet but it is also part of my OU memory.

It rained all night yesterday so unsurprisingly the football pitch which has a rivulet passing by was flooded again - including the west part of the ring road on campus.

So OU has its fortune to make a swimming pool overnight and birds and even swans are happy visitors - because it's an OPEN University. This does not seem to affect OU staff much since work can always be done remotely, through anything mode but physical presence. This reminded me of the SARS peak in China where everyone was forced to be kept at home, hence, online working, learning, shopping, etc. became a predominant mode of life, all of sudden.

Well, when facing practical difficulties, we need to think positively, at least. So here is the blip.

I used to have another OU photo of building reflection in the flood. Can't find it immediately. Should have known Blip planet earlier ;-)
