Technique Challenge: Water drops/splashes

Tools: DSLR camera, tripod, grill pan, freezer bag, meat hook, desk lamp, 2.5 litres of water, needle. Setup: attach freezer bag to overhead lighting using a meat hook; place grill pan strategically underneath said installation; fill (exactly) 2 litres of water into grill pan; fill 0.5 litres of water into freezer bag; use needle to pin hole in freezer bag, so that water can drip into (earlier strategically placed) grill pan (i.e. the water therein); adjust desk light to impact site; adjust camera to impact site; shoot dozens of photos.

Today was the very first time I used the built-in flash of my camera for a blip. Won't happen again, I promise!
