ARE WE LIKE FISH IN A BOWL?

A blipper I read the other day said he wondered if he was missing the 'bigness' of the world, that's why he started blipping.

Maybe we are all like fish in a bowl? whereby our bowl of water becomes our world and all we do is look out at the 'bigness' and open our mouths in awe.

Speaking of bigness, one of my two fish (named Fish and Chips) is getting very big and is in danger of outgrowing the 40 gallon tank that is their world. Chips on the other hand seems happy to stay at his size.

Perhaps this is Fish's way of getting out of his bowl of water into the bigness, because if he grows any bigger he will have to go out into my neighbour's pond!

Is there a lesson for all of us there, or did I get lost in the aquarium?
