Wintry wonder

This is what an island on the Susquehanna River looked like this morning. Amazing. By noon, the sun was shining and the frost and fog was gone.

Started the day with temperature in the negative degrees, ended in the 30's. Still big piles of snow everywhere, but fairly easy getting around.

Tomorrow Mr M and I are heading to a wine and cheese festival on Cayuga Lake, New York, with friends. Always a lovely day!
