Plea

Another lovely day with my Mum. Had a bit of a lazy start to the day, then made it out just before lunchtime, me on foot, Mum on her scooter, and we headed into the centre of Wells. Saw this sign on someone's gate on the way (they also have a giant 'tin soldier' in their front garden - you can just see it in the background here). I was intrigued what they might want the jars for - especially without lids (tealight holders, perhaps...?)

It was a beautiful sunny day - a little window of loveliness in the middle of lots of stormy weather. Popped into a few shops, then had lunch sitting outside the pasty shop, watching the world go by. Back to Mum's, then out again in the car to drop off a prescription request at the doctor's. Got bck to hers again and my sister and the kids came over, shortly followed by my brother-in-law. Had a lovely afternoon/evening with them - dinner and a few glasses of vino and lots of laughter.
