Kinder Scout

After all that rain a few hours of sun tempted us out.

The chosen location was mentioned some time ago by @BachAndByte and it certainly has a lot going for it - some impressive distant views, birds, a wildlife reserve ( permit only it seems ) Broadhust Edge Wood and some wonderful puddles.

The drive home was a bit more of an adventure than necessary - chosing the single track in places route over Ludworth Moor via Shiloh Road and Gun Road (its like the wild west out there !) is always a little brave but today it was flooded in two places - managed to get through slowly but steadily.
