Sunset off Jaguar

I chased down this sunset. After 3 cloudy days with no good sunsets, the sun came out today, melting the snow and giving and evening show.

I grew up in the Midwest where it was super flat. The sky was of great interest, whether it was a summer thunderstorm and rainbows or sunrise and sunset....My Dad's easy chair was next to the west window. He would often call to all of us to come see the beautiful sunset. We had two grain bins in the east and he liked to take the 'Grain Bin Equinox' photo of the sunrise perfectly placed between them. Thanks Dad for sharing your appreciation of these events.
