Olympics

This cover of the New Yorker says it all. I love the Olympics despite the bad politics, the bad press, and the inclusion of some pretty silly sports. Slopestyle Halfpipe--really? What is that? I'm a sucker for glitz and drama. I think all the gay athletes should show up and show how good they are!

It has been raining all day with more predicted for the next three days--up to eight inches of rain. If the sun comes out and there is another article in the paper saying that it was nice but didn't do any good, I might have to cancel my subscription!

OilMan had another skin cancer removed today and is in need of a little TLC. Too bad he doesn't like the Olympics as much as I do!
