Relocating
This morning remained cloudy, but the wind had dropped considerably. The sand of Snells Beach was largely covered with thick masses of seaweed driven up by the winds and tides of the last couple of days. The tide was low, and there was little to see. The best photo was of a gull flying directly at me.
After a day of relaxing between writing letters, I went for a walk on the edge of the water about an hour and a half after high tide. A few birds around; the usual suspects. Gulls (Red Billed and Black backed), Variable Oystercatchers (pied and pure black), the Grey Duck, a solitary White Fronted Tern, and this heron and a couple of other of his mates.
This one kept flying away as I walked along the shoreline, relocating away from me repeatedly. Rewards a look at the large version. Unaltered from the camera.
ADDITIONAL
