Hunting

We awoke to big flakes of snow falling gently from the sky, which tapered off to no snow at all by about 9:30 a.m., so we decided to stop by Lake Padden on a Blip hunt before heading to the Y for our respective exercise preferences.

There was plenty of sunshine, but it was very, very cold, so we didn't linger long, despite the allure of ice over much of the lake. Phil's ancient but still very serviceable red down jacket made a bright spot in the landscape.

This evening we had the great pleasure of having musings and her husband B here for supper. We met her in Portland last year, and now feel that we've known both of them for years, after our far-reaching and always interesting conversations tonight!
