Bealach Na Ba, a 2000ft climb in 6 miles

A couple of weeks ago I signed up to do this, and today I revisited the website. We have accommodation sorted (including a large Motorhome), the entrance fee paid, and now there is just the fitness to work on for the next 3 1/2 months.

The Bealach Na Ba is the highest Road climb in Britain, rising from sea level to over 2000ft in 6 miles. The rest of the 43 mile loop includes a lot of short steep climbs, with amazing scenery.

The training regime started yesterday with a 13 mile cycle, and today a 5 mile run. I like a challenge, and this is definitely going to be one.
