Roanhead

My travels took me out to Barrow in Furness today.

Like a lot of places it can be quite bleak when the weather is inclement, but - also, like a lot of places - when the weather is nice and you know where to look, you can find a really nice part.

I'd finished my appointments and rather than heading back to the office to have my lunch in the dungeon, I parked up and enjoyed the view across the bay from Roanhead.

Wonder of wonders, I was there on a day when it wasn't raining! Such a rarity these days.

I took a few shots, but I was happiest with this one.
