Will Winter Never Come?

Pansies in February and not a hint of cold or snow. While North America faces a series of polar vortices and western Europe struggles through winds and floods, Istanbul saunters on in sweet ignorance of such extremes. Yet this too is an extreme of sorts; no snow means less water in the summer and a potential drought to come.
