Front garden flower

Not much free time today, so dashed into the garden to catch this flower in some interesting light and shadow. I think we planted it but I don't know what it is. I see from the Blipfoto front montage that others are capturing flowers too ... must be the last huzzah before they all melt into wilting brown Dali clocks ...
