An eventful day!!

This evening we attended a celebratory banquet for the Achievement of Livery for the Worshipful Company of Educators at The Mansion House in London. B, R & P are “Educators” and I attended as a guest.

It was a wonderful experience, in an awesome setting. I would have loved to have a decent camera with me to capture more of the event, but made the best of it with my phone.

We almost didn’t get there!! I discovered by accident during the morning, that all main roads out of the village were flooded. We managed to get to the railway station in the end and took a detour via Great Bardfield on our way home. It was about 1.30am before we crawled in to bed!!!
