Friends
The sleepover was a great success!
They were asleep by 9.20pm last night which I didn't think was too bad!
They got into their jim-jams unprompted and took themselves into the bathroom for fairly lengthy ablutions!
Then they settled down for an hour or so of chatting, giggling, pillow fighting, fruit stealing and bouncing. So sweet!
Then they snored their heads off until 6.45am this morning which wasn't as bad as it could have been!
After a lazy couple of hours eating breakfast, playing on the computer and doing their hair we decided to make the most of the sunshine and blue sky (blue sky!!!!) and go to the park. It was so good to get out in the fresh air! Miss E and Miss T had hours of fun on the swings. Mostly at Mr K's expense - he became their servant and had to push them as high as he could for as long as they commanded! Brilliant!
After they had their fill of running, sliding, swinging, balancing, climbing and bouncing it was home to lunch. This is Miss E and Miss T skipping back hand in hand.
It felt quite odd at first when Mrs W left last night. Another child here, a huge responsibility!! But it was ace!
Miss T is lovely! So cheerful and polite. It was a pleasure to have her and I know they're looking forward to lots more sleepovers!
This afternoon will be spent mostly on the sofa, watching How to Train Your Dragon and eating popcorn.
Everyone's a bit sleepy.
Mummy and Daddy included!
