Contrasts

I watched the changing scene from the upstairs window - this weather may be causing all sorts of terrible problems, but it's also producing spectacular skies and swift changes in weather. I tried to capture some of the scenes I saw today:

Top left: I thought this cloud formation was particularly spectacular.
Top right: Crocuses in our front garden
Bottom left: The sun, looking like the moon behind the clouds, trying to break through again.
Bottom right: Rain in full flow.

The wind is very strong and the rain showers, whilst heavy, are blowing over very quickly. It's weird to not have the news sheet to type today, having done it yesterday - my Saturday feels out of sync!
