Stormy Weather..

High Winds and high tides are causing havoc on the Cornish coast. I visited my habitat today to see how the bar is faring under this battering.. Once again the sea has breached the bar with sea water meeting the water of the Loe.

I could barely stand the spray and sand stinging my face as I tried to brace myself to take pictures... It was much worse than it looks and Milly was not impressed!!!

I cannot see how the rare plants on the bar are going to survive this onslaught, let alone manage to fight their way through the foot of shingle that has been thrown onto the bar from the sea...
