FLOOD - Road Ahead Closed !

This is the B4443 at Stoke Mandeville which was badly flooded yesterday, with water right the way across the road. I drove down to take a look today but despite the road being closed at each end people were still using it in both directions.

There were various locations in Aylesbury that were hit by floodwater and several homes were flooded out, which must have been awful. Its almost unbelievable that something like that could happen here !

Hip is still v bad so no jobs today, Carol has gone to see her mum again at SMH. Still no positive news.

Its been windy all day with sharp scuds on & off.

Merlot is asleep in his basket. If he sees me move he will be in my chair like a flash !!
