This shot isn't technically as good as I'd like, but it does very much capture the spirit of my little (less little by the day) girl at her 5th birthday party.

The rate of progress of children is remarkable. Just before Christmas, Jess would not join in with parties, preferring instead to cling on to one or other parent. Here she is, at the front of the group, giving it large. Good girl.
