Marischal College

This big old granite building in Aberdeen is the second largest of its kind in the world. It has only recently been cleaned up so the granite looks nice and white again, and it catches the peachy evening light quite nicely. I never used to be able to get a good picture of it because these horribly ugly council buildings were in the way, I always think its a shame when beautifully designed characterful buildings get surrounded by these modern eye sores. So I actually felt like jumping for joy when they demolished those council buildings, lets just hope they don't replace them with anything as bad as they were.
