Lacock Abbey illuminations

In between the awful weather, there are some good days. We picked a good one to go to Marshfield in South Gloucestershire to see the red-flanked bluetail found there on Tuesday. A fabulous little bird, but I left the photographing of it to the professional with their big zoom lenses and limitless patience.

After we spent an enjoyable afternoon at Lacock Abbey and saw the illuminations, which were fun. It was raining by then, so I was surprised this one came out sharp.
