What Larks!

As the day started bright but windy, I thought I'd have a wander along the road with my camera, tripod and big stopper filter to try and get some long exposures of clouds blowing over. Sadly, the wind seemed to be stronger at ground level than at higher altitude, so it was nigh on impossible to keep the camera steady for any length of time. This was about the best I managed - I was hoping for something a bit more dramatic. However, one bonus was a sighting of 3 skylarks, one even attempting to sing on high, despite the strong wind.
I beat a swift retreat home and spent the rest of the day emulsioning the walls in our shiny newly glazed conservatory.
