Ptarmigan Station

Had a great day - set off from Edinburgh before 7, straight to CairnGorm. Skied till 4, then made our way to the Lazy Duck hostel near Nethy Bridge. I can highly recommend it - we had a great time.

Skiing was great fun though very tiring. I stuck mostly to the green runs (with occasional bits of blue connecting the greens) but managed to ski all the way from Ptarmigan Station (at the top of the funicular railway and about 500 feet below the summit of the mountain).

Spag Bol and wine, apple pie and winter fruits crumble with custard, Caol Isla and Monopoly. Great evening!
