Ready for the Bishop

A familiar blip, but regulars can perhaps play 'spot the differences'. Holy Trinity church is having an Episcopal visit tomorrow morning, as Bishop Kevin comes to rededicate the restored building. Not only is his seat waiting for him in the centre of the aisle, but there is once more a red carpet down said aisle - not just for his visit, but to cover the untidy flooring over the pit that holds the wiring, to shut out the draughts that were finding their way up from that space, and to deaden the thud of feet as servers or children make their way up and down. Besides, it looks jolly fine.

And being thin and inexpensive, it doesn't seem to spoil the acoustic. I tried it out...
