Smashing

Ruby was never a natural swimmer, most definitely not a water baby. But she persevered and recently passed the trials to enter the local swimming club. Tonight she had her first two races - and she won them both! How proud was I?

I promptly celebrated by dropping my camera in the local graveyard trying to get a night time shot. The lens is totally shattered. This was the only shot I managed (resting the camera on a gravestone which is probably why I was cursed into dropping the camera). Looks like a trip to Jessops tomorrow to see the extent of the damage and it will probably be back to the compact for a while - I was really enjoying having a grown up camera as well.
