A rare glimpse

During a break in the rainy weather this morning, I managed to get another shot of the woodpecker. Luckily there are some deciduous trees just behind the house and this one is covered in moss, which I presume hosts a feast of insects for the bird. It very rarely goes to the bird feeder, even the one which is a bit further back from the house.
