Carlton

After three months in the bush Lina and I have finally made it to Melbourne, a city full of food, culture, people and personality. As far as cities go, a wonderful place.

We have used AirBnB often in Australia and have been renting a room this week from a couple in Carlton North. My favorite part of the city. Close to the heart, but livable, arts meets funk and old Victorian buildings. Some renovated and done up in lovely ways.

Like Dan and Alice's place. A little of oasis of calm and grace in the midst of the city.
