The birthday boy

It's finally here I'm going to be living with a seventy year old!!

Susie a dear friend has done a picture in pastels of Tarn his old working dog, and it is a much loved present.

The whole family has been in Wanaka including his brother and Sister in law from England and lots of friends. We had such a lovely evening, it was hot and sunny so everybody stayed outside until the sun went down.

Earlier in the day the family went to ruby Island in the middle of the lake to go wake boarding, we joined them for lunch with the birthday cake! which promptly melted as soon as it was out in the sun!

A super fun day.
