Testing the boots

We have had the pleasure of looking after our Grandchildren this weekend, while their parents are away "up North" at a wedding. Apart from a brief sortie to the local coffee shop yesterday morning, the remainder of the day was a total write off in terms of outdoor activities, so K occupied her time in painting and cooking. As this morning was mostly bright and sunny so we all went for a walk by the river to get some much needed fresh air.
