Itinerant Icicle

The icicles that have been steadily expanding in length and girth from the eaves have loosened their grip, and plummeted to earth in this morning's bright sunshine.

In order to get this shot, I had to wade through ice-packed knee deep snow, squeeze between a particularly prickly holly bush and the side of the house, and scrabble around amongst the shards of shattered icicles to find a suitably impressive sample, whilst a steady flow of freezing water drops pattered on my back!

And STILL no baby ...
