Canterbury waterways

The stour breaks up into lots of separate streams in Canterbury, partly chanelled by the Romans. This new housing has been built of the site of the former tannery, one which had been on that site since medieval times. We enjoyed our walk and came home to a joint of gammon and lyonnaise potatoes.
