Rosie

Rosie is a new resident at the aviary. She lives with ducks, geese and peafowl in a large grassy tree-filled enclosure complete with an enormous pond. She had lived her entire life in a small cage so she was shell-shocked for the first three weeks after she arrived in early October. She is slowly become acquainted with her surroundings and today was the first I have seen her for any length of time. She was nibbling something in the grass amongst the leaves.
