It has been a terribly rainy and windy day today.

1.The electric current was off three times this morning before it was fixed. It was the third time in a week that this happened, so I'm hoping they fixed it properly now

2.We have protected our chimney stack against westerly blasts, but this afternoon we had unusually powerful gusts from North West which blew smoke back down the chimney into the house, so we had to pour water over the fire to put it out.

The whole house was full of smoke. Never a dull moment.

3.Not only that, Roma drew with Lazio and we know it could have been better.

There is a saying here " where there are two, there are three" so we should be safe for a while.
